You can also use hydrogen peroxide as a cleaning ingredient in wipes. Just make sure to put the wet wipes material in a dark container or away from light, as light will make hydrogen peroxide unstable and may destroy its effectiveness. Drinking alcohol and rubbing alcohol can also be used as cleaning agents, but only if the alcohol content is 70% or higher. Rubbing alcohol is easy to know that it is on the bottle, but you may need to double check your drinking. The alcohol content is different from the drinking certificate. You need at least 140% alcohol to use as a cleaning agent, so your regular vodka bottle may not be shredded.
What you cannot use as a cleaning agent in disinfecting wipes is white vinegar, essential oils or lemon juice. These things and ordinary vodka may clean things, but they will not disinfect. You can use oil and lemon juice in your homemade disinfectant wipes to give off a nice smell. However, please use the cleaning agent advertised above for its disinfection properties for actual cleaning. It should be noted that hand sanitizer can disinfect your hands, but it is not the best way to wipe wipes. Its thick consistency makes it difficult to dilute, which, as you will see in the next section, will make it difficult to create its wipes. Another thing to note is that do not mix detergents together to make wet wipes.
A single detergent proportional to water will be very effective. Mixing cleaning products can only be dangerous. Be especially careful not to mix bleach with ammonia, or mix bleach with other cleaning agents. This combination can be fatal, so make sure to use bleach only in well-ventilated areas. As far as your airtight container is concerned, Tupperware is your friend. Just make sure you don't plan to use it with food anymore-you don't want to take disinfectant at all! First cut or tear the paper towel into the required wet paper towel size. You can use a kitchen knife to cut the whole roll in half, and then give yourself some kitchen knives of the right size, they will tear on the perforation line.
However, if your tissues are torn in half, you can tear off enough tissues and put them in an airtight container. It doesn't matter, if you have to fold them to make them fit, it shouldn't affect the next steps. After preparing the towel, mix a certain proportion of detergent with water. For most disinfection products, this ratio will be on the bottle. If you are using bleach, use 5 tablespoons or 1/3 cup of bleach per gallon of water. For smaller batches, closer to what you can achieve for this, the ratio is 4 teaspoons of bleach per quart. Pour the mixture of detergent and water onto the paper towel in the container. Make sure the mixture penetrates into the bottom towel and make sure the towel is moist. You can put the towel in a small amount of liquid, but do not fill half of the container with a mixture of detergent and water. That will dissolve and destroy your towels without giving you any wet wipes.
